Mexico Initiates Review of Countervailing Duties on Certain Rolled Steel Plate

On May 27, 2021, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy initiated an administrative review to examine the validity of the countervailing duties imposed on imports of rolled steel plates originating in the Russian Federation, regardless of the country of export. The products subject to this review are classified in statistical breakouts 7208.10.03, 7208.25.02, 7208.37.01, and 7225.30.07. Countervailing duties of 29.3% will remain in force while the review is underway.

The enforcement date was May 28, 2021.
