In May 2025, the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) announced several antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) determinations, as well as the initiation of investigations. Details on these cases, including affected HTS numbers, can be found in the official notices linked below.
Preliminary determinations were published for the following:
- AD investigation of thermoformed molded fiber products from the People’s Republic of China and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
- CVD investigation of float glass products from the People’s Republic of China and Malaysia.
- CVD investigation of erythritol from the People’s Republic of China.
- AD investigation of sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains from the People’s Republic of China.
- CVD investigation of sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains from the People’s Republic of China.
- CVD investigation of active anode material from the People’s Republic of China.
- AD investigation of paper file folders from Cambodia and Sri Lanka.
- AD investigation of hard empty capsules from Brazil, the People’s Republic of China, India, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
- AD investigations of overhead door counterbalance torsion springs from the People’s Republic of China and India.
The following antidumping and countervailing investigations were initiated:
- AD investigation of lattice boom crawler cranes from Japan.
- AD and CVD investigations of silicon metal from Angola, Australia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Norway, and Thailand.
