In a Federal Register Notice published on December 30, 2024, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced its 2025 rates for its inspection, identification, certification and laboratory services.

The new calculations include updated base time, overtime, and holiday rates. Additionally, a new fee has been added for exporters that apply for export certifications electronically through the Public health Information System (PHIS).

These rate changes will be applied January 12, 2025.
