On March 14, 2018, the fourth World Customs Organization (WCO) Global Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Conference opened in Kampala, Uganda.
More than 1500 delegates from over 95 countries attended the conference. Among the highlights of the conference, Peru and Uruguay signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), while the first AEO program in Africa, the East African Community, signed a MRA with the Korea Customs Service.
