Extension of Timeframes for Rejecting Entry Summaries

On April 23, 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the modification of timeframes for rejecting certain entry summaries.

In Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #18-000301, CBP stated that it has extended the period for rejecting entry summaries with ADD/CVD from 90 to 300 days with, supervisory approval. Also extended to 300 days (with supervisory approval) are the timeframes for rejecting entries subject to Sections 201 and 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, and Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.
