Commerce Requests Comments on US AI Export Competitiveness

On August 16, 2022, in a Federal Register Notice (FRN), the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) issued a request for comments on “the current global AI [artificial intelligence] market and stakeholder concerns regarding international AI policies, regulations, and other measures which may impact U.S. exports of AI technologies.” Comments are due by October 17, 2022.
