On October 5, 2017, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its preliminary findings in the antidumping duty (ADD) investigation on large civil aircraft from Canada.

The preliminary dumping margin is set at the rate of 79.82% -- US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin collecting cash deposits of anti-dumping duties at this rate, once the preliminary findings are published in the Federal Register. Commerce is scheduled to announce its final determination in mid-December of this year.
