China’s Government Announces Reducing Import Tariffs for Certain Import Goods

On September 30, 2018, the China State Council Tariff Commission published Notice No. 9, reducing import tariffs on 1585 HS headings of imported goods from Most Favored Nation (MFN) countries, which will enter into effect on November 1, 2018.  The commodity list covers a wide range of imported goods from construction machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment, and textiles, to construction material and paper products.
