China Issues Tariff Exemptions on US Imports

On December 19, 2019, the government of China’s State Tariff Committee issued the second round of product exclusions on the retaliatory tariffs issued in response to the U.S. Section 301 investigations.

The exclusions apply to a total of 6 subheadings which will be exempt from additional tariffs from December 26, 2019, to December 25, 2020. Per the announcement, no refunds will be granted for previously collected duties.
