Changes to GSP Modify List of Goods Eligible for Duty-Free Treatment

On October 30, 2018, Presidential Proclamation 9813 was published in the Federal Register regarding changes to the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP). The changes modify the list of products that are eligible for duty-free treatment by removing certain eligible articles from certain beneficiary countries for the purposes of GSP. The changes are detailed in two annexes to the Presidential Proclamation.

The changes to GSP go into effect on November 1, 2018.
