CBSA Postpones Decommissioning of Canadian Automated Export Declaration System

On May 2, 2020, in a revision of Customs Notice 19-14, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that the decommissioning of the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) system will be postponed until September 30, 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Summary reports are still required to be submitted via CERS beginning June 30, 2020.
