CBP to Update ACE to Increase the HTS Numbers Allowed per Line

In a Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) bulletin published on June 13, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced an upcoming enhancement in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) that will increase the limit of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) numbers to 16 per entry summary line.

The current limit in ACE is 8 HTS numbers per entry summary line.

This enhancement entered testing on June 14, 2025, and is expected to be deployed to ACE on June 28, 2025.
