CBP Issues WRO on Manufacturer of Bicycles and Bicycle Parts

On September 24, 2025, in a press release, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a Withhold Release Order (WRO) to Giant Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Giant) in Taiwan. The WRO was issued for forced labor concerns.

CBP will detain “CBP will detain bicycles, bicycle parts, and accessories manufactured in Taiwan by Giant” at all U.S. ports of entry effective immediately.
