CBP Issues WRO on Coffee Harvester

On January 29, 2026, in a press release, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a Withhold Release Order (WRO) for “coffee harvested by Finca Monte Grande, a Mexican coffee farm.” The WRO was issued for forced labor concerns.

CBP will detain coffee harvested by Finca Monte Grande at all U.S. ports of entry effective immediately.
