CBP Issues RFI for Continuing Education Accreditors

On September 8, 2023, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #57625703, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a Request for Information (RFI) “to solicit information from the broker community on what should be included in a Request for Proposals to become a recognized accreditor.” The chosen accreditor will review and make decisions for education providers on whether their courses would count for credit for the new continuing education requirement.
