In a notice sent out to the trade on April 15, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that it will host two webinars on the Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries (CAPE) process for requesting refunds of duties imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Portal.
The webinars will guide participants through the CAPE process, from submitting declarations to receiving electronic refunds. CBP requests that participants register for only one webinar, as both sessions will cover the same content. All registrants will receive an access link; however, attendance will be limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The first webinar will be held on Thursday, April 16, at 3:00 p.m. ET. The registration link can be found here:
