CBP Begins New Data Initiative for ACE Reports

On July 18, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #38958327 they have begun a new data initiative for the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Reports within the ACE Portal.

According to the CSMS, the new initiative includes:

  • Transitioning Importer Trade Activity (ITRAC) data to ACE Reports;
  • Enhancing the processing speeds and data retrieval capabilities of ACE Reports;
  • Providing new data universes in ACE Reports.

CBP will be creating a series of short videos to explain the changes and benefits as the improvements are introduced through 2019.
