Canada to Require a Safe Food License for Manufactured Foods

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will require importers of manufactured food into Canada to obtain a valid Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) license. Shipments of manufactured foods without a SFC license will be denied entry into Canada.

This requirement will go into effect on February 12, 2024.
