August 2024 Antidumping and Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD) Updates

In August 2024, the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) announced several antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) determinations as well as investigation initiations. Details on these cases, including affected HTS numbers, can be found in the official notices linked below.

A preliminary determination for antidumping duty was published for:

Antidumping duty investigations of certain glass wine bottles from Chile, the People’s Republic of China (China), and Mexico.
Antidumping duty investigations of paper plates from the People’s Republic of China (China), Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam).

A final determination for countervailing duty was published for:

Countervailing duty investigation of certain glass wine bottles from the People’s Republic of China.

The following antidumping and countervailing investigations have been initiated:

Antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of certain tungsten shot from the People’s Republic of China (China).
