Agricultural Marketing Service Decreases Cotton Fee

On October 5, 2020, in Federal Register Notice (FRN) 85 FR 62545, the Agricultural Marketing Service amended the Cotton Board Rules and Regulations to decrease the fees on imported cotton. This amendment is to ensure that the assessments on domestically produced cotton and those on imported cotton and the cotton content of imported products are the same.

The cotton assessment is decreasing from $0.012222 per kilogram to $0.011562 per kilogram, effective December 4, 2020.
