Posted by Matt Schmitt on 4/16/18 5:00 PM

On April 11, 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) advised in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #18-000272 that filers who filed drawback claims in ACS prior to the cutover to ACE on February 24, 2018, must submit a new drawback claim in ACE if:

  • The required documentation to complete the claim was not provided to the Drawback Office until after February 24, 2018, or
  • The drawback claim was successfully accepted in ACS, but shows cancelled in ACE.

Filers may send questions to OTDrawback@cbp.dhs.gov.
