In an update to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) website on October 9, 2026, the agency published the latest Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Development and Deployment Schedule.

Notable ACE projects currently in development include:

  • ACE Portal two-factor authentication;
  • Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit payment for maritime fees;
  • Truck Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) message set for Electronic Export Manifest (EEM);
  • ACE Manifest Modernization; and
  • Updates to the Global Business Identifier (DBI).

The schedule also identifies projects that were removed due to recent deployment and provides projected deployment dates for enhancements that are actively being developed.
