The Ever Given containership has been freed and is now floating after halting global trade through the Suez Canal for almost a week.
According to the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), the vessel was towed to the Great Bitter Lake area for technical inspections, opening up the waterway for the resumption of traffic.
Customers still need to expect delays as the congestion on both sides of the canal eases.
