As of 10:00am April 13th, Shanghai reported 9,511 positive cases (1,189 new cases) and 246,632 asymptomatic cases (25,141 new cases) since March 1st, 2022.
There are 13 medium-risk areas in the city.Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.
On Apr 11th, the city government announced its classified follow-up prevention and control measures based on the rounds of citywide nucleic acid test results and risky levels. Local areas will be classified as a “locked-down area”, “controlled area” or “ precautionary area”. Details on the 3 areas have been published except for Pudong district, which is still pending for official announcement by each street/town separately.
