We would like to share important updates regarding recent changes in Saudi Arabia that have impacted clearance and delivery processes.
Impacts have been identified at the following points of arrival:
- King Khalid International Airport (Riyadh)
- King Abdulaziz International Airport (Jeddah)
- King Fahd International Airport (Dammam)
Customers should be aware of the following:
- Brokers are no longer permitted inside warehouses; all handling is managed by the ground handling company, resulting in slower processing.
- Customs has introduced new inspection areas and revised clearance flows, including manual requests and multiple warehouse transfers.
- These changes have led to longer cycle times and delays in cargo movement between warehouses, impacting overall clearance timelines and KPIs.
While our internal processing remains on schedule, these delays are due to external factors beyond operational control.
