Precautions on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19): March 24, 2020

Italy and South Africa provide a full list of their industries defined as essential services. India's Ministry of Civil Aviation announces suspension of all scheduled domestic flights. 

Italy
On March 22, 2020, the Italian government issued a list of essential activities that can continue to be provided by essential businesses during the country’s lockdown. Passenger and cargo transportation via land, sea, and air are essential.

South Africa
President Cyril Ramaphosa imposed a 21-day total lockdown. The lockdown comes into effect on March 27, 2020 and continues through at least April 16, 2020. A full list of essential services can be found here.

India
The Ministry of Civil Aviation announced suspension of all scheduled domestic commercial passenger flights, effective at midnight on March 24, 2020. However, all cargo flights, both domestic and international, are allowed to operate.
