Hurricane Willa is approaching the west-central coast of Mexico. Previously a Category 5 hurricane, Willa has been downgraded to a Category 3, and is projected to weaken by the time it makes landfall Tuesday evening. The region is preparing for destructive winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding.

Significant ground, air, and maritime transport disruptions are expected throughout western Mexico.
