Hurricane Michael continues to bring extreme levels of wind and rain to the southern part of the U.S. East Coast. Reference the National Hurricane Center for the most current storm information, and the below resources to understand operational impact in your area.

Ports

According to the U.S. Coast Guard port directory, several ports are experiencing closures or restrictions. 

Port of Panama City: Closed

Port of Wilmington: Closed remainder of October 11, expected to resume October 12 with some delays.

Port of Virginia: Opening hours delayed until 0500 on October 12.

Port of Pensacola: Open

Port of Mobile: Open 

Port of Gulfport: Open 

Port of Tampa: Open

Port of Jacksonville: Open 

Port of Miami: Open 

Port of Charleston: Open

Port of Savannah: Open

Airports

Most regional airports have reopened but many flights have been delayed or cancelled across the southeast United States. The largest number of flight cancellations today were seen at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), according to FlightAware.com. Flights to and from Raleigh/Durham (RDU), Charleston (CHS), Savannah (SAV), Atlanta (ATL) and Washington DC Reagan (DCA) were significantly impacted, among others. View cancellations.
