From January 15th, 2026, the French Customs Administration was experiencing a major system slowdown following a recent update to its DELTA I import customs system.
As a result, import declarations submitted into the customs system were facing severe processing delays. This was a nationwide customs infrastructure issue affecting all importers and customs brokers operating in France. On 22nd January 2026, the French Customs Administration confirmed that the issue had been resolved.
While the customs systems are now operational, some residual delays may still occur on our side as we work through the volumes accumulated during this week’s disruption. To ensure stability and prevent system congestion, processing is being carefully managed and clearing the existing backlog may take a few days.
