On August 8, 2023, the Government of India’s Customs Office issued Notification CUS/DOCK/65/2023 announcing that containers originating in Brazil and arriving in Chennai will be placed on hold until further notice. This notification is effective immediately.
Impacted shipments may be subject to additional inspections and delays in customs clearance.
