On October 31st the ILWU (International Longshore and Warehouse Union) Ship & Dock Foremen Local 514 issued a 72-hour strike notice against all BCMEA (British Columbia Maritime Employers Association) member companies to begin on Monday November 4th at 08:00 PST.  

In response, the BCMA issued a coastal wide Lockout notice to begin on Monday November 4th at 08:00 PST. 

This lockout will shut down all cargo operations in Vancouver and Prince Rupert.
