Following the rejection of the deal by ILWU members during the weekend, the ILWU Canada and BCMEA published a joint news release late yesterday (Sunday, July 30th) indicating that a negotiated tentative settlement has been reached.
The deal will be presented to membership for a vote, dates to be announced.
The ports of Vancouver and Prince Rupert are currently operational. The port terminals and rail partners continue to work through the backlog caused by the 13-day strike earlier this month.
