Customs and Excise in Belgium have announced an emergency closure of their declaration system between Friday, January 15, 2021, at 18:00 and Sunday, January 17, 2021, at 16:00.
During this time, declaration release for import and export shipments will not be available.
An emergency procedure for manual declaration releases as been released under Emergency procedure PLDA N03600: Maintenance of our production environment that must be followed during this time.
This is a manual process that requires physical documents to be presented and stamped at the port, and should only be considered in an extreme emergency
