USTR Announces Sugar Tariff-Rate Quotas for FY 2023

On July 20, 2022, in a press release, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 tariff-rate quota levels for raw cane sugar and sugar-containing products. FY 2021 begins on October 1, 2022. The total in-quota aggregate quantities are:

  • Raw cane sugar: 1,117,195 metric tons raw volume (MTRV)
  • Certain sugar-containing products: 59,250 MTRV for Canada, 5,459 MTRV for other countries
