USDA Revises Sugar Tariff-Rate Quotas for FY 2023

In a Federal Register Notice (FRN) on July 10, 2023, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced an increase to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 tariff-rate quota levels for raw cane sugar. The quantity is increased by 125,000 metric tons raw value (MTRV) to a total of 1,242,195 MTRV for the fiscal year. Raw cane sugar must be accompanied by a certificate for quota eligibility.
