White House Lists AGOA Suspensions for South Africa

In a Federal Register notice published on January 14, 2016 the White House announced a list of HTS subheadings for agricultural products that are to be suspended for African Growth Opportunity Act (AGOA) benefits when imported from South Africa.

Rather than terminate South Africa from the AGOA benefits, the White House has decided to suspend all agricultural goods that would normally be AGOA-eligible.

This suspension of the HTS subheadings will go into effect on March 15, 2016. To see the full notice and the list of HTS subheadings, please see here
