USITC Releases TPP Report

On May 18, 2016 the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) released a report on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) titled “Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement: Likely Impact on the U.S. Economy and on Specific Industry Sectors.”

The report which evaluates not only how the TPP prospectively effects the U.S. economy based on specific industry sectors, it also examines employment opportunities, industries that could be affected and other economic impacts to the U.S. gross domestic product (GDP), in addition to other topics. This report is issued in accordance with section 105(c) of the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015.
