On December 5, 2012, the Journal of Commerce (JOC) announced that the ten terminals in the Los Angeles-Long Beach Port, which were closed since last Wednesday, reopened today. This came as a result of a contract agreement reached by the Office Clerical Union (OCU) and the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA), with the assistance of two federal mediators.
