On November 7, 2016 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released an updated Draft Guidance for Industry for Food Facility Registration (7th Edition). This updated guidance provides responses to previously asked questions from the 6th edition released in 2014.
According to the notice, “The new questions and answers are identified with the date that they were added to the guidance. We also revised information in existing questions and answers, deleted some questions and answers, and made editorial changes (e.g., reorganized existing questions and answers) to improve clarity.”
Comments related to the Food Facility Registration Draft Guidance will be accepted until February 6, 2017.
