On July 22, 2013, the U.S. Census Bureau issued Broadcast #2013055 announcing a change to their website address to aesdirect.census.gov. The change is effective September 4, 2013.
The message explains that "In order to comply with federal and Department of Commerce web policies, the AESDirect website address (www.aesdirect.gov) has been revised to directly associate it with the U.S. Census Bureau. As of today, the new website address is aesdirect.census.gov."
