Posted by Sarah Lilly on 5/11/16 4:31 PM

On May 9, 2016 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #16-000370 submissions to the Document Image System (DIS) will be transitioned to a single email box and format.

According to the notice, the new email box for DIS will be docs@cbp.dhs.gov. The DIS Implementation guide can be referred to, to provide additional information on the proper format, document codes, and labels. If after May 28, 2016 documents are submitted to the email boxes that are no longer active, they will receive an error message back. The email boxes to be retired are CEE-DOCUMENT-SUBMISSION@cbp.dhs.gov and SimplifiedEntryDocs@cbp.dhs.gov.

May 28, 2016 is the start date for the new email box and the other options will no longer accept emails. The email boxes for ACE_STB, ISF_BOND, and EXPORT_MANIFEST will remain unaffected.
