CBP to Hold Trade Day in Detroit

On August 4, 2015, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #15-000513 announcing their holding of a trade day in Detroit, MI, on August 19, 2015.

The CSMS specifies that, “This event will provide the trade community with an opportunity to meet and interact with Detroit Field Office trade staff and representatives recognized as CBP partners in trade.”

Presentations will be held on the following:

  • Automotive & Aerospace Center of Excellence and Expertise
  • ICE/HSI Operation Trade Watch: An HSI Commercial Fraud Program
  • Canadian Import Policies and Procedures
  • Security Principles
  • Exporting Vehicles and the Automated Export System
  • The Focus Assessment Program
  • Federal Noxious Weed Importations
  • Agriculture/Trade & Document Image System
  • Broker Compliance
  • ACE Panel
  • C-TPAT Program Updates

Attendance is free, however registration is encouraged.
