On April 23, 2015, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #15-000237 requesting trade participation in the newly formed Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Trade/Partner Government Agency (PGA) Working Group.

With the implementation of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), importers will be required to electronically report mandatory TTB data, and “the purpose of the TTB Import Working Group is to solicit stakeholder input regarding the data elements that TTB intends to require to be submitted through the ACE filing system, as well as the technical requirements to use ACE.”

Participants of the working group will include importers, software development firms, and members from CBP and TTB.

Responses have to be submitted by April 30, 2015.
