On February 25, 2015, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #15-000127 announcing their holding of a trade day in Boston, MA, on May 6, 2015.
According to the CSMS, “In addition to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the following Government Agencies have confirmed their participation: U.S. Fish & Wildlife; U.S. Department of Agriculture; U.S. Food & Drug Administration; U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and U.S. Department of Commerce. “
The agenda includes four breakout sessions covering the following:
- PGAs: U.S. Food and Drug Administration -Import Operations Update and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Import/Export Declaration & Clearance
- How to Prepare for a Broker Visit and Entry Cancellations
- Additions to Transaction Value and Offsetting
An Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Ambassador will be present to answer any questions regarding the system’s new requirements and deadlines.
