CBP Reports Additional ACE Air Manifest Issues

On June 17, 2015, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #15-000374 reporting additional delays and issues with the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Air Manifest.

The CSMS clarifies that, “ACE Air Manifest is experiencing an ongoing issue where multiple message replies are being sent for a single Airway Bill of Lading to the trade.  This issue first start yesterday and has resulted in delays of messages being sent.  The issue is currently being investigated by the technical air team, and additional information will be provided once the issue is resolved.”

Expeditors will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they occur. Please contact your local Expeditors office for specific questions and concerns.
