Effective Monday, January 12, 2015, Expeditors will make adjustments to its airfreight fuel surcharges from certain regions to the following levels:
From Europe/Africa:
- to Asia: remains unchanged at EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Europe/Africa: remains unchanged at EUR 0.95/kg or USD 0.95/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Latin America: remains unchanged at EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Middle East/Indian Sub-continent: EUR 0.95/kg or USD 0.95/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to North America: EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to South Pacific: remains unchanged at EUR 1.05/kg or USD 1.05/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
From North America:
- to Asia: USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Europe/Africa: remains unchanged at USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Latin America region: remains unchanged at USD 1.25/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Middle East/Indian Sub-continent: remains unchanged at USD 1.05/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- intra North America: remains unchanged at USD 1.05/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to South Pacific: remains unchanged at USD 1.25/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
From Middle East / Indian Sub-continent: (all amounts remain unchanged as below)
- to Asia: EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Europe/Africa*: EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Latin America: EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Middle East/Indian Sub-continent: EUR 0.65/kg or USD 0.65/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to North America*: EUR 1.00/kg or USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)

* For Sea+Air shipments transiting via Dubai, U.A.E., the following levels apply based on the date of transhipment in Dubai:

- to Europe/Africa: USD 1.05/kg.

- to Asia: USD 1.00/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Europe/Africa: remains unchanged at USD 1.05/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- intra Latin America: remains unchanged at USD 0.40/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to Middle East/Indian Sub-continent: remains unchanged at USD 1.05/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to North America: remains unchanged at USD 0.75/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
- to South Pacific: remains unchanged at USD 1.05/kg (or the local currency equivalent of the prevailing country)
From Asian origins, Expeditors provides information on adjustments to the fuel surcharge levels for exports through a country specific fuel surcharge matrix updated on a weekly basis. There are regular adjustments to airfreight fuel surcharges applied to shipments from Asia, and the changes can be viewed in the weekly matrix. Expeditors' customers can obtain a copy of the fuel surcharge matrix by contacting their local Expeditors office.
