Mexico Publishes Dual-Use Substance List

On May 25, 2021, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico published an agreement approving the implementation of the monitoring list of substances susceptible to dual-use.

The agreement aims to promote cooperation between authorities in the surveillance of chemical compounds in order to avoid their diversion for the illicit production of narcotics. These authorities will adopt the necessary measures for monitoring the production, manufacture, extraction, preparation, supply, distribution, shipments in transit, methods of transport, and import or export of any of the 14 substances listed in this agreement.
