Mexico Publishes Countervailing Duty Administrative Review Results on Liquid Caustic Soda Originating in the US

On July 27, 2021, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy published the conclusion of the administrative review examining the validity of the countervailing duty imposed on liquid caustic soda originating in the United States of America (US). This confirmed the previously imposed countervailing duty rate of USD 288.71 per Metric Ton, and it applies to goods classified in statistical breakout 2815.12.01. The duties are also extended five years from July 13, 2020. The resolution entered into force the day following publication.
