FDA Seeks Comments on Export Certificate Requirement

On July 9, 2021, in a Federal Register Notice, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a request for comments on a requirement for an export certificate for FDA-regulated human food and cosmetic products. According to the notice, an “export certificate generally indications that the particular product is marketed in the United States or otherwise eligible for export and that the particular manufacturer has no unresolved enforcement actions pending before, or taken by, FDA.”

Comments are due by August 9, 2021.
