CBP Rolls Out Certification Testing for the Drawback Module for TFTEA

On November 15, 2017, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #17-000715 announcing the readiness for certification testing of the drawback system in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

With the coding for the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act (TFTEA) now complete, CBP states “the Drawback system is equipped to handle both non TFTEA Drawback and TFTEA Drawback claim submissions in CERTIFICATION at this time.”

CBP has also published a draft copy of the ACE drawback guidelines in the (CATAIR).
